Our History

uTrack was founded in 2005 by Conor Gildea and Eamonn Hughes as an Irish software company for the Bus and Motor Coach industry. As our customer base grew into 30+ countries we expanded with our customers needs to provide Software with TravelManager, GPS and Real-Time Passenger Information with YouTextus and Website Design and Internet Marketing with uTrackWeb.

Over the years we’ve built a team of talented people passionate about changing the industry we work in with one simple goal:

Eamonn Hughes

Eamonn is a Techie turner Marketer for uTrack when not glued to his iPhone he’s traveling around the world promoting the benefits of the Internet and Technology to the Bus and Motor Coach Industry.

Pastimes include driving around in his grass covered Smart car trying to convince everyone about sustainable travel (Cycling & Using Bus), Mountain Biking top trails around the world and convincing talented people to work with uTrack.

Conor Gildea

Conor is the lead developer at uTrack and when not plugged into the Internet he’s thinking of ways to add more value to the TravelManager software.

Pastimes include wiring his car with more elaborate iPod interfaces, reading about the latest technology, telling everyone that they’re wrong and swimming.
